UAF is a military friendly university that is one of 17 Department of Defense University Affiliated Research Centers. And now, through our military tuition discount, active, reserve and national guard military service members pay no more than $250 per credit hour, no additional fees except course specific costs and materials if applicable*, for both in-person and online undergraduate courses. Use tuition assistance to cover the full cost of your education, with little to no additional fees or expenses. In addition to providing a discounted military tuition rate for military service members, we also offer resident tuition for veterans, spouses and children of military and veterans, as well as credits for military training and VA educational benefits advising for qualifying students.
