How long does it take to complete OHM?

The OHM can be completed in a year. However, there is no set time in place to complete the program. 

Is the GRE Required?

No, the GRE is not required. 

 

Can the degree be completed online?

Yes. All of our courses are available online in either asynchronous or synchronous format.


Can I take a One Health Master’s course even if I am not enrolled in the program?

Yes. Please email uaf-onehealth-team@alaska.edu to discuss potential courses. 



Can courses that have been taken previously be counted towards my OHM degree?

It is possible for previously taken courses to be counted towards the OHM. Each course is reviewed on an individual basis during your initial advisor meeting.

 

Is it possible to do it part-time? 

You will be able to take as many or as few classes as you would like to take per semester.
